John Anthony Cantonese Grill & Dim Sum is a modern Cantonese restaurant, named after the first Chinese man to be naturalized as a British citizen in 1805, inspired by his journey along the Spice Routes from East to West. In the kitchen, Chef Wong Chi Ming puts an inimitable spin on Cantonese classics such as handmade dim sum, roasted meats, and live seafood dishes using progressive cooking techniques. John Anthony is also home to one of Hanoi’s first ever Wood Stone Duck Ovens, installed to prepare the signature 42-day Roasted Peking Duck.
A beverage program curated to complement the cuisine features gin cocktails, locally brewed beer and the hotel’s extensive wine selection. John Anthony Hanoi is also a champion of sustainable practices in the restaurant industry, using upcycled materials and working with local producers and suppliers.
